Reflection On Trice Academic Locus Of Control Survey

After taking the Trice Academic Locus of Control Survey I got a Locus of Control score of a 7. This score means that I am a person who has more of an internal control, which reflects on my GPA and my study habits. Based on this score it shows my GPA would be about a 3.0 and my study habits inventory would be approximately 47. These numbers show that I am a person who gets good grades and cares about the grades that I get. I believe these numbers reflect truly of who I am. I also agree that I am a person with an internal locus of control. A person with an internal locus of control feels that what they do can control their outcomes. For me, I know that if I put the effort into a class by doing the homework, asking questions and studying I will do well in the class. If I am struggling on a topic in one of my classes I know that I can’t just sit back and hope that all of a sudden, I will understand the topic, I actually need to go get help from either a classmate or the professor. Collaborating with my classmates and my professor will likely help me in the class. Also, when it comes to my education I like to receive feedback from my peers and professors, especially in English classes. I know writing papers has been a difficult for me so when I get assigned a paper I like to seek help from others to look over my paper and get their feedback. I always like to get feedback from my professors so I know what I will need to fix for next time and how to improve my
