Rhetorical arts can be perceived and distinguished through writing, the use of speech, or simply through visual interpretation. Thus, while looking back at my work I was able to fully understood the different aspect that made my papers either succeed of fail. However, through writing my persuasive paper, I had to work harder to establish the three appeals in my paper to help guide the audience’s emotions while using logical information to influence my argument. When failing to interpret these appeals within my paper it could lead the audience towards a different understanding of my paper. I remember when writing this paper, how bad I thought it was because the rhetorical analysis did not sufficiently support the evidence. Practically my ideas were all over the place, but while revising this persuasive paper I recognized a developing and concise thesis was on the works. Writing has always been a weakness of mine, but as the semester progressed I was able to make improvements. Furthermore through my informative working outline I was able to distinguish between the different types of resources needed for my research. Although, I always had difficulty writing effective outlines conclusions I always get stuck thinking that I have already said everything that I wanted. With that being said, I have to work on finding a way to put all my ideas together so that it gives progress towards the essay. All things considered, the most important skill I have learned is how to differentiate between summary and analysis. Through writing this paper, I have learned to look deeper into the meaning rhetorical, rather than just jumping to conclusions.
