How it all began: Creationism vs. Science

In our modern society a controversy has arose in the scientific community debating the origin of our world between, whether it was created through millions of years or in the blink of an eye by the All-powerful God. The argument goes between the believers of Creationism and the defenders of happen-stance. Creationism is described as the, “worldview that does not accept the undirected formation and development of life but requires intelligent (supernatural) intervention.” (Nieminen,). Many in the happen-stance side try to disprove Creationism by flaunting their scientific discoveries, but mistakenly think God needs to be vindicated.
Many renowned scientist such as Albert Einstein whom said, “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind”, Max Planck an incredible physicist most known for his “Quantum theory” believe that ultimately there was a God because of the proof of his works in fields such as genetics, neuroscience, physics, etc. Dr. Francis Collins one of America’s leading geneticist is also a Christian and despite his scientific background he acknowledges God and his Work, he simply puts it as. …show more content…

The Big Bang is defined as “a theory in astronomy: the universe originated billions of years ago in an explosion from a single point of nearly infinite energy density.” (Merriam-Webster). The Big Bang theory contradicts the very order that the world flows in meaning “form order into chaos”, because out of the chaos of the emptiness came the ordered universe spanning from a single point outward like a sphere. But the whole theory supports creationism unknowingly. In the Genesis chapter 1:3 “And God said, let there be light…” meaning god from a single point in space sent forth light. Therefore, when you correlate it with the big bang is a perfect fit Proving Creationism even
