Love is a tricky concept. It brings people a lot of happiness, but only when large risks are taken. These risks have major consequences for everyone involved. However, people still decide to take them, because of their obsession with love. In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet’s families- the Montagues and the Capulets- have had an everlasting feud for many generations. However, despite their knowledge of this, Romeo and Juliet fall in love and get married. This action risks their families pride, lives and relationships just for their own love and happiness. Throughout the story of Romeo and Juliet, different characters decide to put love above all, which leads to severe consequences for them and the people around them.
