In Shakespeare 's acclaimed romantic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, the death of the two main characters can be attributed to two things. Their love for each other, and the social expectations of their time. A love so powerful, yet unthinkable sustains irrational thinking and impulsive actions, and results in the suicides of Juliet and Romeo. Social expectations of their time only add fuel to the flames, in that it gives them cause to kill themselves and pressures them into it. The tragic death of the two lovers Romeo and Juliet could be the fault of their love for one another.
William Shakespeare’s inspiration for Romeo and Juliet came from a poem. Romeo and Juliet is a story about two star crossed lovers, whose families were feuding. Juliet was a Capulet, and Romeo was a Montague. Romeo attended a party held by the Capulets where he intended to see Rosaline. While at the party Romeo saw Juliet for the first time and fell madly in love, forgetting about his first love Rosaline.

Her song is about Romeo and Juliet falling in love and Juliet’s point of view on things. And in the end Romeo and Juliet get there happy ending. Both the book, “Romeo and Juliet” and the song “Love Story” have very similar plot lines.

The lack of expansion in the abridged version versus Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, leaves much to be desired as the experience of full version tells a more human tale to be drawn upon, hence the comparative worthlessness of the abridged version. In the streets of Verona another fight breaks out between the servants of the feuding families of Capulet and Montague. Benvolio a Montague, tries to stop the fighting Tybalt, arrives on the scene. After citizens mad by the violence Prince Escalus the ruler of Verona prevents any further conflicts between the families by calling death for any one who causes a fight in the future. Romeo runs into his cousin Benvolio who had earlier seen Romeo moping around. After some questons by Benvolio, Romeo admits that he is in love with Rosaline and she will not love him back.

Joy has her stand still in a circle. When trouble happens, Joy is willing to leave Sadness behind so she can keep Riley happy, even if that means Riley will never feel sadness.
Love is an overpowering force that can supersede rational thought and loyalty toward one’s family. In William Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet, it is explored that love can bear unwanted effects while in Dire Straits’ song “Romeo and Juliet,” it is explored that love is beautiful and that just the timing is wrong for soulmates with bad circumstances. Both Shakespeare and Dire Straits similarly intend to express that rushing into love can have woeful repercussions. The first piece of evidence that conveys the theme that rushing into love can have woeful repercussions is the intent of both Dire Straits’ song and Shakespeare’s play is Romeo’s portrayal.
Personally, the Baz Luhrmann 1997 version of Mercutio’s Death scene in Romeo and Juliet was more effective out of the two we’ve been presented. Initially, This version of the scene indubitably grabbed my attention for the reason of it’s dramatic, serious and suspenseful plot that makes me want to keep watching. The modern version has a lot more action and it is not simple to follow along than in the other version of this scene. Specifically, The fighting is a clear example of my thinking.

My opinion is the Juliet love him more because Juliet fell in love with him for the first time on her old life in Romeo like with someone else and Romeo kill her cousin and she still love him after the Romeo kill his self and Juliet kill herself to show that love is giving your life for someone else and that's why i think Juliet love him so much mo Juliet love him she be with with him on her first time on her live she marry with him for love not for money and he does not care that he is the enemy because as if he were somebody else he killed himself, even though he killed his cousin and that does not come from anybody, and that is why i think that this is love of truth and that he he loves him more. Today’s society pictures Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet as a love story about two reckless teens too young to make mature choices about love. The way Romeo and Juliet is pictured is so much less than it actually is. Romeo and Juliet is overrated as a love story and underrated as a story in general. People just see one theme on the story, the love story, were it also has other themes, one of them being how kids are too afraid to talk to their parents or even voice their opinion without the fear of their parents freaking out. Romeo and Juliet is more than a love story but also a story about how kids too afraid to come to their parents with a problem or even state their opinions on things without fear of their parents getting angry.

Also, this portrait is one of the most famous portrait during the Renaissance. Back then wealthy people, like kings; nobles; etc., were able to afford the portrait, but now most people can afford it.

There have been many movie adaptations of Romeo and Juliet done and yet there are only a few out of the five I have watched that I would recommend. The top one that I would recommend is the 1968 version, directed by Franco Zeffirelli.

The Love Canal originally began with the idea of being a canal that would generate energy throughout the city. Over the years, the canal gained new ownership through the Hooker Chemical Company and turned the space into a chemical dump site. The company lacked proper maintenance and dumped tons of chemicals that seeped into the new homes of civilians. Exposure of toxic chemicals caused many miscarriages and birth defects in children.
