Personal Statement This quote is one I am very fond of and came across while in my undergrad studies. I was taking an interpersonal skills course and that is where I really stated to take on a different perspective of if I am really going to help others I have to have a greater understanding of myself. Looking at how I approached and handled situations was one way I assessed myself and what I could do differently. The course forced me to reflect on my life, and at the moment I felt that for the age I was I was doing everything a young lady should be, attending school to further my education, working part-time to help my parents cover my financial cost, not acting irresponsible, and helping others when I could.

It has been said that if you choose a job you love you will never have to work another day, and I fully intend to live my life with zeal doing what I love and am truly passionate about, and a liberal arts education will help me achieve that.
