I would have to say that mathematic and science has been a part of my life from a very young age as my parents, both whom are educators, worked hard to make me and my siblings realize that science and math was not just something that you did in school, but something that was a part of life. From planting green peppers in a small pot, to exploring the code that goes into the video games that I love, I feel like science and technology has always been a part of my life. But, the activity that really pushed my desire to purse a STEM major was a summer program.
