The advertising strategy for the brand of Senz Umbrellas needs to be one that is going to grab the target audience and prompt them to want to purchase this innovative product. We are looking to market this unique and innovative umbrella as a premium product with a premium price tag. The target market for the advertising campaign is expected to be those that are willing to spend more for a premium product, as they are more inclined to show interest in cutting-edge, high-tech products. The advertising strategy and campaign for Senz Umbrellas needs to be as unique as the umbrella itself. We are attempting to enter into a market that is dominated by the traditional type of umbrella. Our goal needs to be in showing the public the benefits of the Senz umbrella, convincing them that this is the umbrella of the future. Although costly, an advantage to using a celebrity endorsement is that it will boost the recognition of Senz Umbrellas in the public eye. We need to ensure the celebrity is not one that has endorsed a great number of products. The celebrity should definitely be included in our retail advertising. It is recommended that the retail advertising take place in a high end department store such as Macy’s. Placing the product in Macy’s department stores will allow for us to share the advertising costs with the store, in the hopes of helping to keep the overall advertising budget a bit more under
