Most people think that aborting is okay since it's the woman's body but the baby is another body therefore it shouldn’t be their choice. This statement is true, abortion is murder of an infant, but that statement is still questioned by a lot of people. Aborting has always been doubted as to it being legal and what causes more controversy is if the fetus had a disability. Overall the question asked is if it should be illegal to abort if the fetus had a disability.
To begin with, abortion of a fetus with a disability should be judged the same as a normal fetus. When a fetus is aborted just for the reason of a disability it can hurt other people with disabilities making them think that it is acceptable just for that reason. There are many reasons for it to be illegal and many people have wanted to start a law about it.
