Getting Payed To Play When athletes first start to realize that they may consider playing the sport that they love in college it is a game changer. Athletes that are continuing their love for a sport in college are wanting to take that next step just to showcase their abilities and talents on a higher level. College is more or less a business, and every athletes job is to bring in a profit for their university. Every athlete wants to achieve their personal goals on and off the pitch. Now, the colleges that every athlete plays for also has goals that needs to be met, but those goals involve revenue. A true athlete is determined to always compete and always love playing the sport that are pursuing no matter the situation. Although, in the recent years, there has been an argumentative question that jumps into every individuals mind. whereas professional athletes are just focused on their sport. College athletes have more drive for their sport because they are fighting to play and along with getting an education. People fall in love with college athletics because the athlete is playing for the school and not for the money. College athletes do not play for the scholarship possibilities. They do not just play for the exercise. They play because every moment that they are on the field is another minute where all of their problems disappear. They play for that one game when all the hours of practicing come together and their play is flawless. They play because they were born to play. They play because they love the game.
