Professional athletes’ salary
In the modern society, sports is one of the entertainment for people all around the world. The Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup are the examples of famous global sports events. As the top and the most talented people playing sports around the world, professional athletes are well paid nowadays. According to Forbes list, the world’s 100 highest-paid athletes combined earn over billions of US dollars. However, some people argue that whether they deserve such high salary than highly educated people. Mihir Bhagat [1], the senior sports reporter, said that the salary of teachers is lower than athletes. They should not be well-paid because they only plays sports but they are able gain huge income.
