Are you a hard working American citizen that pays a lot of tax money every year, but you don’t know where your money is going? Well a high percent of it is going to prison to pay for people that have done terrible things and are going to serve years in a prison. why should you have to pay for them? It is unfair that we should have to pay around 60,000 dollars a year per inmate while the death penalty is a much cheaper. A lethal injection is under one hundred dollars dollars, so what would you rather pay for? And If you're like me, you wouldn't want dangerous people running around your community causing harm. But people believe that the death penalty violates the 8th amendment, but the supreme court ruled that it doesn't. Are some congressmen that believe that the death penalty is betraying the 8th amendment, which states that Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. The leather injunction is not pain full leather they use sodium thiopental which make the victim unconscious and the other drugs stop the heart so there would be no pain. And our country does the least executions in the world. In 2015 the united states only executed twenty eight people and in china there were over 1600 that what were sentenced to death.
