The love story of Romeo and Juliet is tragic but relatable. This is shown throughout the play as their characters develop and show their true colors. The theme of Romeo and juliet is love because this play focuses on the different types of love and the connections of each characters. Love one of the major themes of the play including having brotherly love, parental love, and of course romantic love. Love plays a big part between each character in this play. Each character has a special connection to each person or character in this play. First, When Romeo states, “So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows As yonder lady o’er her fellows shows” (1. 5. 55-56) he is describing the beginning to fall in love with Romeo.
