As new technology shifts the buying habits of consumers towards favoring on-demand products, Staples should continue to position themselves as the market leader for office supplies both online and in-store. Also, the kiosks touch screen improves shopping experience making it more convenient to order in store on a bigger screen for customers. The disadvantages of using kiosk for staples is that its initial start up cost may be high when it comes to software development and inventory management. Staples also may lose business due to high prices or not having the ability to price match through the kiosk.
