Why I Would Like to Obtain a Graduate Degree from Bethel and How I Plan to Utilize My Degree upon Completion of the Program I hold a Master’s in Health Informatics and Information Management and am credentialed as a Registered Health Information Administrator. Since graduating with my Master's in Health Informatics and Information Management, I have met a great deal of people that have been extremely knowledgeable and influential during both my academic and professional careers. I have also pushed myself to go further than what was required. Through knowing these individuals as well as my own drive and motivation, I have grown in my understanding of the healthcare field. I am currently employed at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in the Corporate HIM department as a Data Integrity Specialist. I have the opportunity in my department to work alongside other Health Information Management professionals as well as Healthcare Administration professionals on a daily basis. My hope is that by obtaining this degree, I will be able to have a better understanding of different aspects of the administrative field in healthcare and to be able to be the head of a department wherein I can share my knowledge and experience with others. I want to further my knowledge and be able to take on my roles in my current job as well as any future positions. …show more content…
