There are over ninety four million iPhone users, in the United States alone. There is one person we can thank for having iPhones, iPads, and Mac Computers. The Most Valued Person of technology is Steve Jobs. He spent his whole life dedicated to creating user friendly, fast working, and reliable computers.
Steve Jobs, “The father of the digital word” began his legacy in San Francisco, California where he was born on February 25, 1955. He was raised by a couple who adopted him. In school, Steve Jobs always had an interest for computers and technology. He started creating computer-like machines when he was twelve at in internship he had received. In 1975, while they were in high school, he and a friend started building computers.
The first Macintosh came out in 1976. It had a cost of $700. A year later they came out with the second version of the Macintosh. They made 2.7 million dollars in the first year, and in the first three years they made 200 million dollars. After a few more computers came out, there were some struggles in the company and Steve Jobs was forced out of Apple, his own company. He created a second company called NeXT, which also created computers. After a few years he sold NeXT to Apple and returned working for Apple. He released many more computers, iPhones, and iPads. Sadly, Jobs died of pancreatic cancer on October 5, 2011.
