With Jobs owning 11% of Apple company he made sure Macintosh was much more useful. Then, he realized that the company was evolving to a “grown-up’ company and he was not the man for the job, as described in the article. In April 1983, John Sculley, a former president of Pepsi-Cola, became the CEO and president of Apple. Steve Jobs believed John has the skills to help Apple. Eventually, it meant Steve giving had to give his job away. Sculley became clear he didn’t know anything about a computer industry. Jobs then hired developers to write programs for the Macintosh. January 22nd, 1984, Apple released their first infamous minute commercial during the third quarter of a Super Bowl. In fact, the Mac sold very well, until Christmas came and they heard many complaints about the small amount of RAM it had and lack of hard drive connectivity. A year went by and Jobs and Sculley began to argue like woman, leading Jobs to resign and leaving Sculley as the head of Apple again. The next few months, Apple was forced to lay off 1,200 employees, making it impossibly hard. During the same period of time, Sculley had Microsoft’s Bill Gates sign an agreement that the introduction to Windows 1.0 would not use Mac technology. The company sold 50,000 Macs II every month. Sculley then began to lose interest about his daily operations of Apple. With this, they relieved Sculley and put Spindler in charge. Several months later, Spindler resigned. Fast forward to today's technology with Apple. Apple has changed our lives and technology. Today we now have an iPad Pro which is as big as a desktop screen. They make their money by making new technology and selling them to their customers. We believe that Jobs came up with this Apple products by themselves. Even though they did back themselves up with some other ideas that happened in the past. They used some of the technology from the past and used it on today's technology and made them more smarter. Apple has been a company creating new cell phones, and tablets every year.
