She knows that the process works, and she has seen the positive and successful ending results in students, and that the students educational improvement is what implementing this program is all about. Educational interventions used in schools are researched-based, so following the proper steps and process is crucial in the success of the intervention. Also, every teacher that is implementing this program needs to follow the same steps and procedures so all students involved are getting the exact same teaching. If a student is moved to a different classroom, or if the teacher is gone for a day, the process should be the same in every room so the students are getting the same material and instruction. If Jane and Alison have a relationship including trust, Jane should be able to see the passion Alison has for this program being followed the correct way to ensure student improvement, and trust that following the exact steps are critical in its
I felt all the educators supported each other and displayed a professional and supportive teaching environment. All the educators continually suggested ideas and trusted each other opinions. Everything discussed was pulled from recorded data and nothing of any basis from Mary’s teacher. The teacher made sure to inform Mary’s mother of this meeting and would set up a later date to discuss everything. Overall, the meeting went very smooth and was enjoyable to see educators work so well together for the betterment of a

Ms. Bussue understands that, like with any student, not everyone has a perfect home life so she takes it upon herself to help build their self esteem as best she can in the classroom. The program also works to widen the students social circle in three ways: by having them mingle with Rosedale students in the Bridges club at least two times a month, participate in social time on Fridays in class, and also by giving them the opportunity to be mentored by the students at Branksome Hall, an all private girls school located near Sherbourne. Not even halfway through our interview I had a clear perception of who Ms. Bussue was and that was a woman who is very invested in making sure her students are able to succeed on their own; a teacher who wants the best for them. At the end of every school year, my piano teacher held an “end of the year recital” where he gave out awards for various character traits and accomplishments. One of his most prestigious awards, “The Most Conscientious Award” was given to the student who was demonstrated the most diligent personality throughout the year and it was the award I sought after the most. Having a strong desire to obtain this award created a lifestyle of conscientiousness and diligence that has never left me. Carrying this mindset through my adolescent years, I chose to apply to one of the most rigorous all-girl schools in Washington D.C., Georgetown Visitation. Knowing that I would be challenged there,I looked past the presumed difficulty, because being challenged throughout middle school was something I valued.
