Final Paper Assignment Driving While Stupid, a Miami Herald column written by humorist Dave Barry, was written with the intent to make readers aware of the bad driving habits of today’s motorists. Dave started off his column by mentioning that he wanted to tell the reader of something he saw while driving on the I-95 Interstate in Miami, Florida. Before he did so, however, he felt compelled to provide proof that Miami drivers are the worst drivers in the world.

In the story “Should This Student Have Been Expelled?” by Nat Hentoff was a very good argumentative passage. Hentoff argues that freedom of speech should be valued no matter how offensive it is interpreted by others. Dough Hann abused his freedom of speech when he blurted out “Fuck you niggers” to black students at Brown University. A student asked Hann to stop screaming and Hann yelled “What are you a faggot?” Next, Hann noticed an Israeli flag in the student’s dorm and asked “What are you a Jew?” and shouted, “Fucking Jew!”
Introduction The case of Students for Fair Admissions v. University of North Carolina is currently before the U.S. Supreme Court, and centers on the University of North Carolina's use of race in its admissions policies. The petitioner, Students for Fair Admissions, have brought claims alleging that the university's use of race discriminates against Asian American applicants in violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment and federal civil rights statutes, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The legal issues before the Supreme Court include whether the university's use of race in admissions decisions is constitutional under the Equal Protection Clause, whether the university has a compelling interest
Today we are supporting the idea of giving driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. Using this essay we will try to get you to agree with what I have to say. Imagine the steers filled drivers who don't have their driver's license. Do you feel safe walking, driving or even being around that area? Unfortunately illegal immigrants are not able to get their driver's license officially, consequently they don't get the proper education about the rules of the road.
There are many reasons for this, one being the small spaces allotted to park in. It’s a lot more fun when the spaces are painted straight instead of slanted. The parking blocks were installed for pure enjoyment. The students have figured out how to drive over them and they realized how fun it is. It is much easier to just drive through the two spaces rather than driving around the row.
You're driving along at 10 kilometres over the speed limit to keep up with the rest of traffic. You are simply going with “the flow”, when suddenly you see flashing lights behind your car. You must think about what you are going to say or do to try and get out of the ticket but you are not sure what the game plan will be. In order to talk your way out of a speeding ticket you must pick your nose, begin blabbering and start crying The first step is to pick your nose.
In Nat Hentoff essay, “Should This Student Have Been Expelled?” he debates that freedom of speech should be valued no matter how it is taken by others. The one example that pops out to me is the student at Brown University, Dough Hann. He states many offensive things about several people and is expelled because it was not the first time something like this has happened. Freedom of speech is difficult subject that has many different views on it.
If you always wanted to take the subway and not drive and pay for the garage all the time you would save a plethora of money. The subway is a very crazy idea and most likely will never work. Yet, it would limit how many people are worry about parking. College students would love this since they do not have to worry about all the traffic, finding a parking space, and gas money. College students are very lazy and just want to get from point A to point B and the less they have to do the better.
Since the administration took away the backpacks from the students, they have been angry. The students don’t feel like they are being treated like adults. It makes it seem like the administration doesn’t trust the students enough to carry backpacks, so they treat us like we’re in elementary school. It also doesn’t make sense that every other high school let’s their student body carry their backpacks, but West is the only school that can’t carry them. Being treated unfairly is something that West is against, yet the administration is doing it to the students that go here by not allowing them to have their backpacks.
I have never been very energetic. Most of my recesses were spent talking or daydreaming. If I did happen to join in it was to play hop scotch, tether ball, or four square. Rarely would you see a boy playing any of these games. I was not that we didn’t allow them to join in.
Before the spark of cars’ popularity, society was designed and built around one thing; humans and our desire to socialize. In the earliest days of cars, parking was not a huge deal seen as how most people could not afford such a luxury; soon however, came the large-scale production of cars at affordable prices and cars began to encroach upon society. Jumping to modern-day, we fully acknowledge the need for adequate parking, yet we still choose to sacrifice huge portions of land to automobiles when not in use. By implementing structured parking into areas where people go to gather we instantly reclaim large plots of land that can then be used for many more social purposes; cafes and small businesses can begin to develop around these structures,

When it is time for the students to go home and a bus is arriving, the bus driver would approach the terminal slowly; being extra cautious because he notices that they are children walking home from school and he wouldn’t want to injure anyone of them. The driver does this act simply because he cares
