It has been able to address the issues relating to healthcare service delivery in the metropolitan areas in Colorado. The healthcare started as a single health care unit thus providing its staff and the managers with an experience of handling the business. Despite that the management gained an experience, the success of its management has been attributed to the fact the best practices are often put in place. Business management relies on the ability of the managers to adopt effective measures in dealing with a given business. Even with the purchase of other hospitals and the clinics, the board of directors has been in ensuring that such clinics adopt successful measures in running the business. With the rising need for more expansion of its services in the region, the company changed its name to Utah Health Group (UHG). The buying of the Hospital in Denver was considered an important step toward expanding its facilities and services. The company allowed the facilities to operate independently.
