Sutter Medical Center is well known; this hospital thrives on outstanding work ethic and morals. As a person who has had many illnesses in the family, I would greatly enjoy working with this hospital to give back to others. I want to volunteer at Sutter so that I can do my best to make a positive impact on patient’s lives. In my experience a smiling staff always helps you and your loved ones feel better about complicated situations. I feel that volunteering with this hospital will be a one of a kind experience to allow me to learn about the field I want to work in as well as the opportunity to give back to this community.

I will ensure that I have time to complete all of my volunteer hours but arraigning a schedule, in which I will a lot time for each of my classes, time for homework, time to study, and volunteer. I have done my best to schedule my classes as close as possible time wise so that I have a wider range of availability for volunteering. Although there may be obstacles along the way, taking this step is a priority for me and I will always uphold my commitment to volunteering. Gaining experience in my field of interest or even in any form of hospital operations is a planned step in my academic career and I feel that it will fit well with my established multitasking, concentration and study skills. In addition I have already had a meeting with my current employer explaining that I am looking to volunteer with Sutter Medical Center and that I will need to designate at least four hours there a week.
