Every day Paul felt bad for himself because he couldn’t remember how he got his glasses he thought that it was his fault that he lost his vision because everyone had told him that he started into an Eclipse too long and went blind from it. Overall Erik spraying Pauls’ eye’s affects his character by making him wear glasses for the rest of his life. After Erik spray painted Paul’s eye he thought that he would be able to cover it up because Paul wouldn’t be able to remember he made fun of him by calling him Eclipse Boy. This moment happens when Erik and Paul are on the bus and Erik calls out “Hey, Eclipse Boy” (Bloor 34).
