Students have different academic needs and it is the responsibility of the teacher to meet every single one of them. My instructional goal is to create my lesson plans and assessments in a way that all students can be engage in the class. I have to keep in mind that every student is different and that I need to use different strategies so that they can be engage in the class. They are some students that learn through auditory channels and some others throughout visual aids. As a teacher, I would need to use different strategies to help my students in their process of learning. I would like to use visual aids such as graphs, paper handouts, films, charts, and group discussions. Again, as an educator, I have to keep in mind that not every student learns the same way. Students come from different backgrounds and as a teacher I have to know their previous knowledge. Students might have misconceptions and presumptions depending on how they have been taught. One by giving extra credit, give them candy, stickers, and some other tools. In my opinion, motivation does not only work by giving the students something, but also by giving them a good complement even though they are not doing the work well. I believe that everyone is capable of learning and that it is my job to let them know that they can learn it. I have met so many people that tell me “ I hate math” or “ why are you majoring in math? It is really hard”. I want to change that aspect that many people have of math. I need to let students know that it is not hard and that math can be fun. Math is like any other subject, but in this case there are numbers and more things. I will teach my students to solve one problem in different ways and they will choose which one is the easiest for them. This can help during the short term, and sometimes with the long
