All departments share a primary objective that meets to an organisation goal, success through aligning and tracking those goals through the implanted actions and results are critical to a progress of team achievements. Mr. Salem needs to efficiently set the objectives and goals for every individual employee and to conclude them closely to the department’s objectives which will increase efficiency of the employees and motivate them towards achieving the department goals.
Mr. Salem needs to divide the task eventually amongst the Team members while setting the targets. It has to think about how each individual in team can contribute and to measure this contribution. Mr. Salem needs to monitor his Team performance to make ensure the work process is going smooth and achieving its goals and meetings department’s requirement. Employees are marked on the level of their work output; the line manager keeps a track of their performance to give the grades as per the eligibility.
Bench marking: It is actually measuring the internal process of organization and then to understand/identify and to adapt the best outstanding practice out of it. It’s actually comparing the best performance and practices metrics to that of other business industries.
Providing feedback: Line manager /organizational head should have the ability/asses the performance of an employee and give feedback as and when required, which will make the employee to understand and correct wherever they are wrong. Feedback is the essential criteria which every organization should follow in order to achieve their targeted goals and to make the employee work more efficiently.
