Mostly seen on social media and in commercials, the team will endorse, “First 10,000 fans will receive a hat.” This is a common thread for all teams, providing additional incentives for fans to show up and support. And occasionally, a theme night will be headlined with post-game fireworks, bringing even more entertainment to the stadium. Social media brings awareness to the devoted time and effort that fans put into their lives. Showing previews and promotions carries over to the willingness and sacrifices it takes to be concise with technology. The trajectory of where technology will be in years to come falls into the hands of major league baseball.
