Each and every human being deserves to be treated with respect, which is why human rights are necessary. The article, “Human Rights” , discusses the importance of human. Intentions to secure human rights date back to the ancient civilizations. However now, human rights belong to every human, regardless of the social barriers. After the atrocities of the Holocaust, governments and citizens are required to adhere to the rights of other humans (Human Rights). Written in The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, are a list of rights that belong to every human being. In order, to protect humanity, people and governments fist need to respect the rights entitled to every living human being. Human trafficking is a violation to human rights. Written by Anna Collinson, the article, “The College Cleaner No-One Knew was a Slave” shares the story of a woman who was trafficked. The poor woman has to work to long brutal hours with little no pay. She works in college full of people. However, no one knows of her struggles. Her captors emotionally manipulate her by threatening to kill her children (Collinson). The woman was stripped of her rights and forced into submission. The Martians arrive on Earth from Mars and desolate the land. Their behavior is similar to that of humans. Like the Martians, humanity has laid waste upon the environment. Though his writing, the author is puts humanity in the shoes of nature. All the horrors animals suffer, Wells burdens on humans. Throughout the book, while the Martians destroy everything, Wells is trying to reveal to his readers that humanity’s doing will it’s undoings.
