Fahrenheit 451 when anyone hears this tittle they think of greatness. The book,written by Ray Bradbury,was such a success that they decided to make a movie on it. Although having the same ideas,they are very different. This is not the type of book that you can watch the movie and pass your test. I'm going to be,comparing and contrasting the book and the movie
In Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury established a society in which they are no limits to the vehicles they drive in order to blind the community of their curiosity. Vehicles, no matter the size or shape have speed that not many cars should not be pushed to. In Montag’s society, as a result of this many citizens including one of Mildred’s friend states that she drives at such a speed not to get jailed by the government that she doesn’t clearly see her environment when driving her car. Mildred being used to this responds as if she has been through this scenario a numerous number of times when she looks out the window and only sees blurs and can’t really interpret her environment. Bradbury wrote the book during 1950–1953 in Los Angeles, California when Senator McCarthy was up-and-coming. Bradbury may have took inspiration in wanting to write a book in which its protagonist when against the conventional society. McCarthy, much like Bradbury, both seem to have wanted to oust communist or “regulators.” In Bradbury’s novel Fahrenheit 451, Bradbury showed how leaders could be contradictive and deceptive. Surely since Senator McCarthy was an outspoken and influential (he has a whole era named after him!)

Into the Wild Essay Into the Wild is written by Jon Krakauer and is a biography. This book is the story of a man named Chris McCandless who graduated from college with a three point seven grade average and gave all his savings to charity .He then attempts to live off of the wilderness and is picked up by many kind people who agree to take him wherever he wants to go. All of these people offer him food ,shelter,or supplies but he refuses to take them stating that he wants to live off the wilderness. He very often is described to be a very independent person due to the actions that he takes in the book.

A “criminal” who is caught reading a book goes to jail and the fire department has to burn the book. After Montag, a firefighter, finds himself ignoring rules, he is caught by his chief and is forced to run away, in search of new books and people who understand him. The book Divergent takes place in a "post-apocalyptic Chicago" and the book is set in future time so the technology has a big improvement such as the government injecting serums to people and controlling them the way they want to and they can even get into someone's mind by injecting the serum again. So from that we understand that this book is set in the future time. The world has been into a big war which got everything messed up. So people left there, decided to build a big wall to separate the two sides.

The main character, Guy Montag, works as an archetypal firefighter that loves his job, but subsists in a society filled of people with tyrannical mindsets, who view the world differently than he. The novel takes place in a futuristic setting where reading is forbidden. Paradoxically, firefighter’s duties are to burn books as an alternative to putting out fires. The government partakes strict regulations which make attaining freedom absent, causing citizens to be “brainwashed”.

The book Divergent, by Veronica Roth, was published by HarperCollins on April 25th of 2011. This book’s genre is mostly science fiction but is also a dystopian fiction novel. Overall, It is a well-composed edition to the Divergent trilogy. It keeps the suspense and drama up, but in waves, as not to overwhelm the reader. The characters also cover wide ranges of different traits, giving everybody the chance to bond with a character.
Any decision in life all comes down to the choices made and the path favored, if chosen a different path than expected, it will transform their life. The choice chosen will define their life and it will tell them who they truly are. Divergent is a novel about a society split up into five factions, each faction is dedicated to a different virtue. Each citizen may choose between the faction their family belongs to or change it up, for the rest of their life. Through the novel Divergent, Veronica Roth explores the theme of survival in a dystopian society using the character Tris’ unique talents and intelligence to enable her to have to fight to survive and keep her identity a secret which causes everyone to believe that she can not be trusted and is dangerous.
