Have you ever entered a room full of roses? Roses that have the loveliest scent that just makes you have the brightest smile on that day? However, there is something wrong and you know it. It just does not seem right that all the flowers…..are just the same old roses. Well, that right here is what happens when there is lack of diversity. Diversity is definitely something that we must nurture and cherish. Without diversity, the daily life within a community is just another plain old day, and to us human beings, we will be having a boring life. I have learnt a lot on why harmony within diversity must be nurtured and cherished. Firstly, I understand that we should nurture the harmony within diversity to ensure that the world we live in today will be a more peaceful place for everyone. It is not hard to look around us and see how peaceful our country is today. Malaysia is a country well known for its diversity. We, Homo sapiens, are beings that have been living in groups for thousands of years. No matter what we do in our lives, we need company to help us enjoy it to the full. I have known a lot of people in my life and they are from different background with different cultures. Most would say that different cultures will make it difficult to know another person well. I strongly disagree. In fact, it is the diversity and differences that I got to know so many people in my life.
