NCAA is a non-profit organization which controls athletes from 1281 institutions and also individual players. The organization arranges sporting events, especially in the US and Canada. They provide the opportunity for college-level athletics to learn and grow. There are three divisions under which these athletes are chosen from the school and colleges (Lock, 1991). The NCAA also has their criteria which the student has to fulfill to enroll as a player under NCAA. It has got various sporting events like rifle shooting, football, basketball and many more. However, the issue is that NCAA absorbs all the profits which it gets from the organization of the sporting events. These athletes are not paid in money, and they only have their scholarships while they continue with school.

Therefore, there has been a considerable amount of arguments on the role of NCAA and their role while absorbing all the profits (Loughlin, 2015). In fact, the coaches and managers working under NCAA get their desired expenses for the players to sign the agreements of joining the desired institution. However, the players do not get paid.
Therefore, there has been a tremendous revolt against the notion. There have been arguments on letting the players earn money when the organization is absorbing most of the profit. The main problem is that the hard work and efforts of the players are going to the NCAA. Hence, in all situations, the players should be allowed to gain compensation for their hard work.
