In today’s ever industrious world, oil has became the primary source to our advanced way of life. When most people think of oil they think of the gasoline they put in their vehicles, but oil does a lot more for our world than just get us to work everyday. Oil can be considered the most essential product in our lives. Although some could argue food, water, and shelter are the most important. However, without oil we would not be able to run the machines that all make it possible to obtain those materials, as well as process them, and deliver them. There are even thousands of byproducts that are made from oil like plastics, medication, tires, beauty products, house paint, and gasoline just to name a few. Not to mention that everything made in a factory is touched by oil because those factories use oil to run. Hopefully that gives you a sense about how important oil is to our lives today so it is vital that we continue to produce the oil that our world loves so much. What do we gain by fracking for oil? Crude oil is perhaps the most important resource to humans today. It runs the world we live in. Our lavish and comfortable lifestyles would not be possible without oil. Almost everything we use is either made out of oil or produced by oil and it is all transported using oil. The life we live today was built on the foundation of oil and it is the centerpiece of our society. Today, more than ninety percent of all oil and natural gas wells are fracked at some point during the life of the well. Fracking is nice on the energy consumers billfold, considering it on averages saves each household nine hundred dollars per year.
