I find it funny that you too chose to use the word bullies in your description of some unions. I feel that’s exactly what some of them turned into. We’ve seen many portrayals of the unions in movies like F.I.S.T. (1978) with Sylvester Stallone, which gave the image of the hard working, blue color worker being overworked and underpaid. In this situation the union comes in to equal the playing field. I do agree there are many benefits that came out of unionization. However, as their popularity grew, so did their power and subsequent abuse of said power. This resulted in many negative effects to include businesses going bankrupt and ultimately out of business.
