The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, this is a play about love and hate. A feud between two families the Montagues and Capulets that has been going on for years. Romeo and Juliet meet for the first and fall in love despite what their last names our. Then you have the Friar whose role to Romeo and Juliet is neutral. He cautions Romeo about marrying Juliet, but in the end, he marries Romeo and Juliet thinking this will help heal the rift between the families. Which in turns leads to Romeo being banished. The Friar gives Juliet a potion to drink before her wedding to Paris, so everyone will think she is dead. The Friar gives the letter to Friar John instead of Balthasar who doesn't know Juliet is alive and he tells Romeo that Juliet is dead. Romeo ends up not knowing the plan. As a result, he brought his poison to the tomb to kill himself. After he drinks his poison. Juliet wakes to find Romeo dead. So she takes Romeo's dagger and kills herself. Romeo and Juliet turn to the Friar who can offer neutral advice. Friar Lawerence gives a letter to Friar John who on his travels to Romeo stops at a house of sick people. People thought the house was plagued. So Friar John could not leave and deliver the letter. In the meantime, Balthazar shows up and sees Romeo and tells him of Juliet's death. Not knowing there was a plan and she is not dead. He heads to the tomb with his poison. He goes into the tomb and sees Juliet laying there. Thinking she's dead, he drinks his poison. Right after that Juliet wakes and sees Romeo, who is now dead. She doesn't want to leave. So takes Romeo's dagger and kills
