Many nonprofit organizations believe their based off reputation and not brand. Hayes Roth, Chief Marketing Office, Landor Associates, shares the meaning of branding. When we speak of branding, we tend to think for-profit organizations. Nonprofit organizations use branding as a way to sell their message for investing and recruiting.
Without branding it will be difficult getting support for a nonprofit organization. Branding nonprofit organizations, such as The Salvation Army, have a status to where they can get the help or support needed without having to explain their services. Branding is based off the ethics of the organization. This will also make a nonprofit organization stand out from other competitors in the industry.
