Training the Next Teach for America
In today’s society, there are thousandths upon thousandths of teachers teaching in public, private, and charter schools across the United States. Teachers are exceptionally vital in America for a spectrum of reasons. Teachers play a massive role, particularly in the youth because they are helping educate the leaders of the future. Each profession requires an educator for every single career such as an artist, doctor, lawyer and even a teacher. No matter what occupation people choose to pursue, teachers will be the main source of the training. In Training for the Next Teachers for America the author, Megan Hopkins expresses the concerns through a proposal about Teach of America (TFA) and how the model and program affects each child’s performance in school, based on what teachers reciprocate, in contrary to how the TFA program is being improved to enhance academics and information about the Teach for America Residency.

Teach for America’s mission is to eliminate educational inequity, as a member of the program teachers across America are given a certain amount weeks to prepare for the school year in a thriving in a classroom full of students. Most teachers probably express the same concern of not being prepared due the lack of weeks, information and teaching methods installed in the training because each teacher in a way is responsible for “teaching” each student and as a teacher and student it is important that both take a part in being successful in
