Trash Troop is a hybrid organization that provides certain urban Junior High schools, with an afterschool club. This club focuses on practical and proper waste disposal lessons, and getting students engaged in making their school environment cleaner. Ultimately, providing the future generation with a value of cleanliness, that they pass on to the next generation. 1. A. Trash Troop has two main ‘bodies’ with which it forms relationships. The first is the Junior High school students, and the second is Trashy Bags who buy the segregated plastic waste. To acquire these partners and customers, we employed various strategies. The metrics we used to measure the success after launch were: - The number of signups for the club – This is the most important metrics for measuring our performance during and after the launch. Especially since our job is to educate as many students as possible through the club. - Evaluation score – This metric is the second most important, right after the number of signups. It is the score the students give to rate the launch after it is over, determining, how successful the launch was and getting important feedback from customers. - Do/say ratio – This KPI is used to measure the ratio between what you do and what you say will do. It is also the third most important metric and helps us know how well we did during the launch. - Net promoter score – This KPI measures the number of students that rate our launch as ‘fair’ or better, minus those who rate us lower. It gives us an idea of how many students are interested in the club after the launch. - Conversion Rate – It is the ratio of people who convert from being aware to making a decision. Additionally, customers should be a heavy influence on your sales planning. For this reason, Grannies launch was successful. It also helps to let customers relate to your product on a personal level; make them care about what you offer. And one way to do this is to make them understand that they are an important aspect of the business. c. One of the most important things to include in your sales plan is getting feedback from customers. It is helpful to get as much feedback as possible to the extent where it seems your customers are running your business.
