At ten years old, I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I proudly responded, “I want to be a lawyer.” To this day I have worked hard to familiarize myself with the law and since then my interest in helping people grew and grew. I decided to enroll myself in the only law magnet in the district. This was a tough experience; not only was I starting at a school that I was not zoned too, but this school was far more advanced than I was accustomed too. I noticed there was a diversity issue at my new school between students in advanced classes and regular classes.
Concessions fully denies that it violated the Federal Labor Standards Act (FLSA), 29 U.S.C. §201, et seq. by not properly compensating Mr. Berkeley for any non-tipped duties. The FLSA permits tipped employees to perform related duties that are not directed toward producing tips. See 29 C.F.R. §531.56 (e).
There are many core principles encompassed by the mission and values of Pacific University's Physician Assistant Studies program that I know will make Pacific University a great match for me. Ensuring high quality care for patients, valuing diversity, and lifelong learning of evidence based medicine are concepts that should be at the core of healthcare. Also important to me is the need to help underserved populations. Currently working as a medical assistant at a primary care physicians office in Hilo, Hawaii I work with many individuals from underserved communities of the island and I see the need for greater healthcare access in these areas, and I am now committed to continuing to help the underserved as I further my career.
When I think of theology, I instantly want to break the word down. I have a science background and understand unfamiliar words by looking at their parts. For me, theology is theo- or God and -ology or the study of. From this, I understand theology to be the study of God. Studying God is most familiar to me as something that members of the historical clergy had the freedom to indulge in all the time.
As a freshman in college, I wanted to major in legal studies because my perception of the pre-law course was misconstrued. I surmised that majoring in legal studies would allow me to excel in the subject of law and help prepare me for the LSAT. .Albeit I know it will be a rigorous course, I am determined to work diligently in order to complete my academic goal. I want to attend a college in which there are many majors that align with pre-law student's common goals.

My time here at the University of California, Santa Cruz has been one of the most interesting times of my life. I have learned so much, both academic and socially. I am a business management economics major and I am looking to go into the marketing industry. The problem is that at UC Santa Cruz, there is not a marketing curriculum.
• Please discuss your personal and professional reasons for applying to the program. (250 words or less) * Growing up, I saw my father come home after a long day of working in the fields with sweat on his face, and weaknesses in his bones. The worst days were the ones where he would feel sharp excruciating pain in his knees, and there was nothing he could do about it, other than to endure it. Although I was little, it was in that moment that I knew what I wanted to do in my life. Seeing my parents unable to have or afford healthcare inspired me to pursue a career in medicine, at a young age, I immediately started planning on opening my own hospital and offering health care for those who cannot afford it.
My interest in graduate school is to receive the training and educational background that will compliment my professional and previous education experience, so that I can become an organizational leader in higher education. My goal is to use my understanding of leadership principles for consulting practices in construction management for training and development as well as instruction at the college and university level. I am influenced by this field because I believe that training and development in education and the work environment is predetermined by many influences which include: teaching philosophy, state and local districts, textbooks, instructors, government and professional organizations. Because all of these factors play a large part in what is taught in our school systems, I believe that it is a fine line between what is worth knowing and what is being taught
I want to apply to UW-Madison because of my love for learning how humans work through psychology. As a child, I was always faced with the same question, “Why did they do that?” From then on, I always found myself analyzing every aspect from any angle I could. When I began taking social and government classes, another interest of mine, I found every point easier to understand because of my knowledge of psychology. UW became my number one because my mental health care team all have degrees from your school.
The majority of my life has been spent placing critical life events and accomplishments onto a timeline. For instance, it has been twenty-one years since I first wrapped my teddy bears in bandages and diagnosed their illnesses. It has been eleven years since I decided to become a nurse. It has been seven years since I was first admitted to Texas A&M University and struggled with the pressures of doing well in college while balancing a personal and family life. It has been almost three years since I last stepped foot on Texas A&M soil.

I am Keely Britton and I am enrolled in the Auburn University Adult Education, School of Educational Foundations Leadership and Technology (EFLT) doctoral program. I am writing as a result of speaking extensively with Dr. Gary Waters concerning an assistantship in the athletics department. I am available right away and feel that there exists a perfect fit due to my work experiences, current extracurricular involvement, and personal participation in a comprehensive enhancement program. While on faculty at Florida A&M University I trained approximately fifty graduate students who in turn instructed approximately three hundred seventy-five freshmen in the art of developing mind power by using advanced memory systems and techniques. However, superior speed-reading and comprehension skills buttressed memory training, therefore speed-reading and comprehension training preceded memory training.
Personal Statement The University of North Texas (UNT) Dallas College of Law's location, in the heart of Dallas, and its accessibility from Waxahachie is a major draw for my selection of this specific school. In addition, I’m drawn to the diverse student population that the school targets in their recruitment efforts and the innovative manner in which the school aims to educate its students through hands-on education and not just lectures. My desire upon graduating from Law School is to return to Ellis County, where I spent my youth, to continue the law practice, with my parents, for the goal of marrying my law services with my drive and passion for giving back to the community. By continuing to provide affordable legal services to the residents
Law personal statement main As a child, looking up to law-enforcers such as police officer’s has made me believe that Law is the backbone of our society. Without it, everyday life would not be tolerable. My passion for law developed when I stepped into the Supreme Court and watched a court case in the Old Bailey.
