UHP Statement Along the way throughout college, I have noticed what people think when they hear the term “Honors”. I have witnessed people saying “Oh, they are the nerds”, or “Oh, they are the ones that do not have life”. However, I am absolutely sure this is not even close to real meaning of an Honors student. Coming from a different educational background represented a challenge for me when I first came here. Even though since I was little I used to be on the first places, when I got here, I was unsure I was going to be able to be like that here as well. Thankfully, even though the way has not been easy, now I have been able to obtain academic achievements I never though. This have given me the huge lesson of never giving up because as harder
