Mission & Vision. The Oho Christian University Mission Statements states, “Oho Christian University prepares students to serve effectively in the church and society by providing a holistic, Christ-centered, biblically integrated education in the Wesleyan tradition (“OCU”, 2017).” Although, the mission statement is a wonderful goal, as a prospective student it may be difficult to understand and digest the meaning until they become a student. The OCU vision is to prepare Christian servant leaders that will impact the world in a meaningful way (“OCU”, 2017).

The VCSU Mission Statement is "Through flexible, accessible, and innovative baccalaureate and master's programs, VCSU prepares students to succeed as educators, leaders, and engaged citizens in an increasingly complex and diverse society." Included in the main focus is the website’s innovative and user-friendly design, the accessibility of individual program specifics, and finally the simplified complexity that is the website’s strategy.
Evaluate how ASU is positioning itself through its vision and mission. The ASU’s vision and mission statement are a very powerful. These two statements positioning ASU as a public research university that use a student-centric model to support innovation and creativity. ASU’s vision is to lead their people to be success in life and understanding the value of the community.
CareSouth Carolina's is a Federally Qualified Health Center located in Hartsville, South Carolina. Its vision is "We will lead the transformation of community-centered care (CareSouth, 2014). Their Mission statement is "We enhance and improve the health and wellbeing of everyone (CareSouth, 2014). Lastly, their values are "We openly serve our patients and community partners with teamwork, excellence, joy, respect, integrity, and trust (CareSouth, 2014)." Preventing a co-worker from interacting in a risky situation and pitching in to help a colleague finish a job are two ways in which the employees support the internal community and tie into the vision statement of CareSouth Carolina (Sloat, 1999 pg 20).
This paper will discuss a publicly traded company, which is a company that has to issue securities through an IPO (Initial Republic Offering) and it has to be traded on at least one stock exchange or the over-the-counter market. Initially a small portion of the shares are shared amongst the public, but the entire process is necessary. When a company goes public, it allows the market to determine the value of the entire company through daily trading (Investopedia, 2017). However, if interested in finding out if a company is a publicly traded company, he/she can go to EDGAR, which is a free database provided by the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission. BACKGROUND Knowing the background of the job of interest not only provides an upper hand but an idea of what type of atmosphere it has been throughout the years. Knowing the history, key individuals, purpose statement and values, and mission statements can sometimes persuade applicants to apply for a job with the institution. Encountering this information has become much easier with the use of the internet and search engines. History “Texas A&M University and Prairie View A&M University were first founded as land-grant colleges in 1876,” years later the A&M system was established in 1948 by the Texas Legislature.
The mission for the Johnston Community College (JCC) Child Development Center is to produce an early childhood education that would meet the needs of the families whom are being served, by providing a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. They believe in training teachers to work with young children in loving respectful ways, that would enrich their environment. The goal is to provide young children with the best care possible, and to aid the Early Education Students in becoming the next generation of Early Education Professionals. Johnston Community College Child Development Center was established in 1998. It is an extension of the Early Childhood Education department.
There are many integral aspects that I am looking for in my future college, but the three most important ones are: excellent academics, a stellar golf team, and a well-respected business program. Wittenberg excels in all three of these categories. I am interested in attending Wittenberg's renowned campus, because it is a place I feel that I belong. The depth and variety of the programs at Wittenberg will not only allow me to pursue the courses that will further my career as a professional and as a golfer, but will also give me the space to explore avenues outside of my comfort realm. Of the nine attributes illustrated in the Wittenberg University Mission Statement, the three I feel I embody the most are: high academic achievement, physical well-being, and intellectual inquiry.
There are many things at Ole Miss that I want to experience while attending Ole Miss. My main goal is to exceed in my studies of the mind, understand my profession to its maximum and to broaden my perscpetive on the human mind. I want to do all three of those the most because I see these options as the most potential choice to help me understand my major. Rather than just understanding the mind I want to be able to understand and see it differently than I ever have before.
It offers clubs, classes, activities, and programs that I believe are essential to becoming the best version of myself. Moreover, these opportunities will enable me to engage in outreach activities for the school, fostering a sense of belonging within the community. The principal mission of an HBCU was, and is, the education of black Americans. After the research of choosing to attend an HBCU or not, in my opinion I made the right decision to attend one. To start off with my first reason to attend, I have relatives that are alumni of the following HBCUs, Tuskegee University, Savannah State University, and Allen University. I also have relatives that are currently attending Morehouse College and Benedict College.
