Week Ten Reflection Blog While reading chapters twelve and thirteen of Development of Children and Adolescents, the social information processing model stuck out to me for a few reasons. First, the theory maps the clear steps one must take in order to carry out behaviors. In addition, it provides understanding as to why there may be gaps in one’s reactions. Therefore, the model describes how individuals can help others recognize the steps they are missing. In order to gain insight to the social information model, one must address each of the six steps.
