From the Theory of Multiple Intelligences survey I scored highest in the Musical category. I can use this skill to help me remember words by creating a rhythm to remember the words. What career associated with your type of intelligence interests you and why?
One career that interests me is to become a singer or songwriter, even though I a very shy, I learned that musical skills can help me in singing and experimenting on the piano to create songs. Another career that interests me is an engineer. I would want to be an engineer because I learned from the survey that creative intelligence could help me to building stuff and solve everyday problems.
4. How do you think having that kind of intelligence would help you in that profession? I think that having musical intelligence would help me to become a singer/songwriter because I would be able to excel in writing songs and hearing different musical rhythms. Having creative skills would help me in engineering because I would be able to react to different problems that might occur easily based on my survey results. That could help me to understand people’s ideas and describe them to the rest of the group so that no one starts argue about who’s idea is better.
Look at your results from the Modality Preferences survey (pink). 1. How does this result affect you academically? I scored highest in the tactile/kinesthetic category. I think that having these skills is both a benefit and disadvantage. It is a benefit because I can remember notes after writing them which is helpful for tests and quizzes, but it is harder for me to listen to a lecture or speech and remember what was said.
2. What are some things you can do at home when studying to help you learn using this modality? One thing that I could do at home is to take breaks while studying to go outside so that I can do more without getting bored and not being able to focus.

Something that I already do in class is twirling my pencil on my fingers. This helps me to focus on what the teacher is saying while keep my hands busy in a quiet non disruptive
