A lot of people take freedom for granted. Some might not even realize that they have freedom! But freedom is not something you get, you have to work for it. You have to put a lot of components and time into gaining freedom. Freedom is a privilege that you have to work for.
“Freedom is never given; it is Won”-A. Philip Randolph. To me, Freedom is Hope. Freedom is men and women fighting every day to keep me safe. It's not always peace, and it isn't always free.
When people hear freedom they think of lots of things. When I hear the word freedom I think of all the people that have fought for freedom. Martin Luther was a big part of winning freedom for so many people. Today the people who fight for our freedom are the soldiers and anyone who has ever been a soldier like the veterans. Freedom is something that I would not want to live without.
A person could argue that freedom creates its own problems and that people are at times abusive of these. However, we live in a country that has these freedoms so valued, it can be found in our national anthem. While there may be always abuses made upon it, we can only hope that the United States will always continue to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. Understanding the importance of freedom and why we have to continually fight for it, is to look at all the ways it has been fought for.
We don 't typically stop to think about our freedom, it is something most of us are guilty of taking for granted. Even when our freedom is brought to our attention, it is only a brief thought quickly pushed to the back of our minds. Most of us are too focused on our own hardships and shortcomings. However, there are a select few who have come to the realization that this freedom is a highly valued prize. These are the people that fight our battles for us because they value the safe haven that our country is.
Freedom lives and breathes in everything we as Americans do. The freedom we have today reminds me of where freedom does not exist yet. There are many countries where the citizens have heard about our freedom, but cannot experience it for themselves. We can only hope for those people right now, and dream of a world that’s free.
Freedom is the ability to love whomever we want, It is when you give without expecting a favor, It is the power to forgive when you've been mistaken, it is the capability to do right without being proud of it. To me Freedom is America, Freedom is the 13 horizontal stripes and the 50 stars waving in the wind, and finally Freedom is for everyone to be equal, yet different in his or her own way. Freedom to me is America, as simple as that. On July 4th, 1776 America gained freedom from Great Britain, for this is one of the most important dates in American history.
WHY? Darkness falls and he can’t see, but he can hear them. He always hears them. He has been hearing them since that one night.
The first time I ever experienced freedom was when I came to America. Sometimes freedom ain 't really for all, you still have to follow all rules, and obey your parents. The word *Freedom* means to me is that you may have the right to do what you think is right, and you don’t really have to be one of those people out there that have no right. Even if you don’t have any right you can always dream, and experienced from the people around you, and your friends. When people always tell me what’s right, or wrong, that annoys me.
Abraham Lincoln said it perfectly, if you don't allow freedom you should not be allowed to have it either. Abe Lincoln contributed in a major part of freedom in America. He began the process of freeing the slaves in the 1860’s. Freedom is a major topic in our country. We should be grateful for all of what the veterans of all of the wars did for us
Freedom is like a religion to us. “An American is one who loves justice and believes in the dignity of man. An American is one who will fight for his freedoms and that of his neighbors.” (Ickes
It seems to me that many people think freedom is a right. Even though they may be correct, what they do not realise is it is not a birthright. It is something that they must fight for, something they must be willing to take. They seem to have forgotten what life is like without the ability to do what they want, when they want on a silver platter. When I think of Veteran’s Day, I think of the people who understood freedom is something you must fight for and fought for our freedom.
The main idea of freedom is to be respectful and helpful to the community. Freedom is not endless. Freedom should be limited in some circumstances for the benefits of the community. You can't just do whatever you want just saying that “I have freedom.” We can’t kill people, do things illegally.
and I control my destiny. How can I be happy when I am under someone else’s control? I want to act and express myself as I wish, not having someone controlling my emotions. Liberty to me means: I am free from the government’s power and limitations and I have the freedom to become whatever I want to. I have the right to own a weapon, a house, or a car.
Freedom means the power or right to act, speak, or think without restraint, and the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved.
