During my four years of high school, I have interacted with many teachers. I understood as a student, a teacher’s responsibility was to push their students to reach their full potential. Some teachers were caring towards their students and others just wanted to do their job. Even though each teacher was unique in their own way, one particular teacher I admired deeply. His name is Dr. Hiawatha “Doc” Northington.

According to the studies here is the contrast between two learning measures. On the one side is the highest rating teachers who contributed the most to learning process and on the other side result of measuring the teachers who had received relatively low ratings but appeared to have been most effective. The researches build a framework for understanding possible influences on student’s evaluations of teaching.
This leads me to believe that a good teacher is one that can combine their instincts for children with a solid foundation of teaching techniques and understanding of behaviors and the factors that drive those

Outstanding teachers make decisions centered around the success of their students. These teachers see each child as an individual, recognize each child’s strengths and weaknesses, and work to provide opportunities that reach the child at a level that is appropriate for them. Outstanding teachers believe in the capability of all of their students to grow and experience success. They capitalize on students’ strengths in order to develop the confidence necessary for each student to continue to make gains. Teachers work to develop the whole-child so that they may be prepared for the future.
Teachers should be able to be creative in their teaching. They should be able to teach important things to their students, like reading and writing in a way that works for everyone

It is my opinion that abortion can be morally permissible. I believe that the right to continue or terminate a pregnancy is something that the woman should have control over. Abortion is an extremely personal decision. I’m not saying that there aren’t other suitable options available, I’m simply stating that the woman should have the right to make the best decision for herself. After all, it IS her body.
Teachers are the life-blood of school districts across the United States. They are masters of their specific grade-level content and work tirelessly to manage the learning and well-being of their students. Teachers are the academic leaders of the learning environment within their classrooms and collaborate with their students throughout the year in order to facilitate learning, and foster creativity and problem solving. However, over the last thirty years, teacher leadership has taken on a whole new meaning.
Student Engagement A good teacher should know how to engage students in learning activities and be able to respond to diverse students needs in the classroom. The classroom observations I have seen these past week has shown me examples of good teachers. In all the classes I observed the students sat quietly and were always ready to raise their hands and answer questions. In my kindergarten class all the students were really into their assignments and wanted approval of their work from their teacher.
It is necessary for a teacher to have the students organized and transitions smoothly, but all the other little details, if thought of, help to make for a great lesson. A strong, outstanding teacher must manage the class efficiently and have some level of structure. An outstanding teacher needs to be able to analyze data, set goals, but most importantly have an inner drive to learn more, achieve the goal, and constantly adapt and do better.
