When tragedy strikes, there is someone to blame. “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare, tells the story of two families caught in a feud, resulting in the two teengers deaths. The two star crossed lovers story started out as an innocent secret, but with the first death in the play, everything went downhill. It ended in more death and more tragedy with Romeo and Juliet taking their lives, but ending the feud between the Capulets and the Montagues. The death of Romeo and Juliet had many contributors, but ultimately it is their own fault for choosing to take their lives. First, Romeo and Juliet knew their love was complicated and against fate. They were the children of two families caught in a deadly feud. ¨My only love sprung from my only hate! Too early seen unknown, and known too late! Romeo could have lived on after he heard the false news of Julietś death and Juliet could have woken and lived on as well.
