I learned how to differentiate my approach in helping the students at level they were at. I am interested in teaching in a middle school setting because I’ve come to see how important it is to get a student to be invested in their education while they are in middle school. Studies have shown that the education gap widens by the time an African American student reaches middle school. I want to be in a middle school setting to help bridge the education gap, one scholar at a
Middle School Should Start Later in the Day Are you tired of waking up early in the morning for school? If middle school started later in the day many kids can get sleep. More kids can get to school on time.
I think that we should keep the 8th grade graduations. Graduation for the 8th grade is a big milestone in teens lives, because it means they 're going to high school. I think that it also lets people get the chance to expand a skill of theirs like (for me) art, since they can get awards for things like that, and a few other things. My opinion on the 8th grade graduations, are that they are pretty cool (even though they are long).
I believe the efforts we do not make in prior life can be mistakes or setbacks for our future goals. At the time, we may lack knowledge which could help us reach goals that we did not know we wanted in prior years. For me, this goal was to be a member of the Incarnate Word High School National Honor Society. I met all but one of the requirements which was to maintain an average of 94 or higher. As a freshman, I thought this was out of reach for me and pointless to work toward so I decided to put NHS out of my sight.
CCMS is the place to be has proven true in my life. Everyday I wake up excited and happy to go to school. Can you believe that! Capital Christian Middle School is the place to be, because of friends, teachers, and academics. One of the most important things about school is friends.
Recess Should be in the Middle School Schedule Recess was all I was looking forward to the entire day. I would play basketball, football, and soccer when we went out for recess in elementary. When middle school first came, it changed because you had certain days of going outside, so when you go outside it is just 15 to 10 minutes a day or some days we would not have recess at all because the gym was either being used or it was too cold to go outside. That is why I do not want this to end for everyone.
Middle school and lower school are different in so many ways. In middle school you feel more grown up and like you have so much more freedom In lower school you have to walk in a line, sit criss-cross apple sauce and you feel locked up and like you have no control.
As a student in high school, life was dramatic and challenging. I was not ready to face huge changes during my freshmen year, and I often thought life was as easy as breezing through a straight tunnel. Then, I started seeing many gifted and talented students struggle and fall behind in high school, and I feared that I would be the next victim in line. Gradually, I learned step by step to grow and adjust to the changing environment, like a metamorphosis from a caterpillar to a butterfly. I became more determined to earn success in academics and athletics; most importantly, I found out who I am: a small girl with a big heart to change the world.
Have you ever wanted to do something great with your life? Graduating high school is a main priority if you ever want to get a good job or to go to college. I believe a high school diploma is important to my future because I would like to get a good job and become something great in my life. To begin, a high school diploma is extremely rare to find because so many people are looking to just get any job they can get their hands on. The main problem with that though, is the fact that countless employers will not hire anyone without a high school diploma at the least.
It is almost close to the end of my sixth-grade year, and I’d like to think I’ve changed since over the course of time. Near the end of fifth grade, I was confident and carefree. In fifth grade, I was the “smartest” kid in my class, maybe even the whole grade. With this reputation, I was always confident that I could finish an assignment with my best effort and get an A on it. I was on top of the mountain, or as I should say, the top of the fifth grade.
Time management is a quality that every person needs to learn in order to make it through every day as an adult. It is especially important for students to be adapting these qualities as their brain is
Ring, Ring, Ring was all I heard. Then I remember it was my first day of my so-called middle school. It didn’t feel like a middle school. It felt like I was going to a mental asylum. I was also scared that I was going to hurt someone or even worse kill someone.
I remember the first time, I had entered the Middle School. I was genuinely apprehensive. Were the teachers going to be uncharitable, and greedy or were they going to be adventurous or commendable? Some people see school as a prison, regardless of whether what goes on.
You can’t judge a book by its cover Through the past years of transitioning from the middle school to the high school, I 've faced a lot of obstacles, came across many problems, and have gone through many phases.
