Have you are someone you know been drug tested? If you have children, have they done drugs? Or how do you know they are not doing drugs? In the following paragraphs we will be discussing why we should have mandatory drug test in schools. Drug test at schools may seem extreme but they are highly needed. As stated in the article; “According to research teenagers are the most likely to abuse drugs. They cover almost half of the population of drug abusers.”(Test Country Par.2) The fact that many teens will feel like their privacy will be invaded by taking drug test, but if they attended school they shouldn’t be using drugs anyway. The most commonly used drug is Marijuana, because of the fact that it is super easy to get, and is one of the cheapest drugs. By the time a child hits 8th grade 13% percent of their class will be smoking marijuana and that number only goes up with the time they begin high school. …show more content…
