Should Marijuana be Legal Marijuana is a type of harmful plant for the body. People used marijuana as medical treatment for some serious diseases. Some smokers call marijuana a joint or nail after they roll it up in a cigarette. According to Drug Enforcement Administration Museum, “Marijuana is grown and trafficked all over the world, while cannabis seized in the United States is either grown domestically or smuggled from Mexico or Canada” (“Nature’s Addictive Plants”). In the USA, there are some states that allow their society to smoke marijuana, however the other states do not let them smoke. In these states that do not allow them to smoke marijuana, their societies want to change the law and make it legal like in other states. There are many debates about whether marijuana should be legal like alcohol or not. Some people want to have equal treatment between states to smoke marijuana legally. Smoking marijuana is harmful act for the health and caused two diseases. I agree that smoking marijuana is damaging our health, and government should make it illegal. …show more content…

I disagree with them because there are a few states that smoking marijuana is legal in it, so it will be easier to change the law of these states instead of changing the law in all over the United States of America. If US government changes the law in these states that allow smoking marijuana, all the states will be treated equally. For example, if the US government changes the law in Colorado and Washington states to make smoking marijuana an illegal act, the government will be treating all the states
