William Shakespeare is a well-known playwright of the 1500’s and of the modern day, most often associated with his sonnets, monologues, and soliloquies. He often tied his plays into her personal life or into the events that occurred in the society around him. His most popular play is Hamlet, having been translated into over 75 languages, and he even invented many popular expressions that we still use to this day, such as “wild goose chase” and “love is blind.” He is a very influential playwright and is still widely performed and recited to this day. Due to him being married to Anne, Shakespeare was forbidden to take on any sort of apprenticeship in London, and was forced to create his own job by himself, with no help from anyone in London. He eventually found acting troupes with less requirements to be a part of them, and was able to join despite having a wife and being rejected from many other acting guilds in London. In the following few years after his marriage to Anne, there are no reliable historical records on what he was doing at the time or if he was even writing. It has been said that Shakespeare moved to London to pursue his work, leaving the children in Stratford with his wife. This leads many people to believe that Shakespeare and his wife eventually split, or had some sort of marital complications between the two. His son died at the age of eleven, and his other children left him with no direct descendants of the Shakespeare family. Following these “lost years,” Shakespeare eventually came back into the light, specifically in 1592 as a playwright in London. In 1593, Shakespeare ended up publishing a long poem, titled “Venus and Adonis,” which readily became popular to many of the citizens
