On Wednesday, 10/17/15, at approximately 2036hrs I noticed a white Nissan Truck bearing the license plate number 4SW 597 parked in South City Park at the Big Brick shelter house. I noticed an unoccupied truck but the truck was running. I radioed the license plate number to Brookfield’s Communication Officer Lindbloom. Communication Officer Lindbloom advised the license plate number checked back to a James Mauritzen on a 1997 Nissan Truck registered in Missouri. I exited my patrol vehicle to check the vehicle.
Before furthering my education here at San Jose State University, I wasn’t sure what my interest and career path I wanted. Although I did always want to go into the law enforcement field, I was never sure exactly what I wanted to include myself in that field. As I began my career here at SJSU I developed an interest in the criminal justice system, more specifically in the field of law. I followed my interest and join clubs such as the Pre-Law Society club here at SJSU. Through this club I got the opportunity to meet and sit in panels on law students including Alan Adkisson.
Understanding the standards of law can help me know what I am walking into. If I do not know what I am walking into, I will be as blind as a bat in the field of work. Lastly, I hope to learn from the best while visiting. Learning from the best can assist me going into the study of law, and also can help me by gaining experience from the best.

Careers in the criminal justice field are vital to the community because they can control the outcome of other people’s livelihood, freedom and safety. The slightest mistake can turn a small problem into a catastrophic disaster. For example a judicial officer must have extensive understanding of city, state and federal laws to make fair rulings. If the judicial officer does not understands the terminology he or she cannot do the job correctly.

Employment Considerations will need all information that is legal, so if anyone may want to get hire or fired one of the employees would know too. Also, the employment have to know how to handle any kind of disputes or misbehavior, employees will need to know the terms of any payment and what are the benefits comes. Criminal law deals with crimes ranging from a minor misdemeanor to felonies. These crimes can range from something as little as a disorderly conduct to something as violent and severe as murder. Criminal law involves police officers, prosecutors, judges, juries and the courts. The primary goal of the criminal law is to help protect the communities from criminal activity and keep people safe. A defendant charged with a crime would go to court and make a plea of guilty, not guilty, or no contest.

Introduction Civil Justice System The civil justice system exists in order to enable individuals, businesses, and local and central government to vindicate, and where necessary, enforce their civil legal rights and obligations, whether those rights are private or public. It ensures that the rights and protection of citizens are called for. The rule of law dictates that government should not abuse their powers as per AV Dicey’s concept of the rule of law. In addition, the civil courts endorse economic activity, allowing contracts to be made between strangers because rights are taken care of in the courts if they are breached.
