As upholding freedom, humanity, and peace are strongly emphasised in both the APU 2030 vision and admission policy, I am willing to cultivate myself as a global citizen who is ready to make the world peaceful with the international mutual understanding of diverse cultures. Thus, I aim to learn how sustainability and tourism can make a positive impact on our planet under the faculty of tourism and sustainability at APU. Additionally, I acknowledge that the quality of the education system at APU will allow me to learn, create global learning values, and conduct research with international standards. Moreover, as stated in the APU 2030 vision, support from the university will also allow me to build new partnerships with various organizations
I see myself being an engaged member of the WCU and Brinson Honors College community by being involved in community service opportunities, becoming a member of leadership organizations, and taking advantage of opportunities to study and serve in a different country or to participate in undergraduate studies. I plan to be engaged in the WCU community by being involved in all that I can be involved in. Specifically, I hope to become involved in at least one of the faith-based groups on campus, such as the Baptist Student Fellowship at WCU or the Campus Crusade for Christ. Becoming involved in faith-based organizations is important to me and will allow me to love God and love people better by learning more about God and participating in service projects that will share his love and truth. Additionally, I want to join a local Church family, where I hope to serve in various aspects of the Church, especially those that involve children, something that I am passionate about.
I am interested in Howard University because it is an HBCU that encompass the themes of cultural diversity and education. Your commitment to scholars ensures me that at your school I will be right at home. Since I intend on on going down a medical path, I know that Howard University will provide me with best resources to follow my dreams. As a child I was always interested in the worlds around me and how things worked. As a result I participated in a Summer Enrichment Program located at Indiana University in Bloomington.
In life, my faith in God, and goal oriented mindset, has kept me grounded while achieving the standards which I hold for myself. For this reason, I believe that California Baptist University fits not only the academic rigor which I strive to achieve but the community and spiritual atmosphere to pursue me a challenging, yet rewarding, career in Business Administration. Cal Baptist will grant me the ability to build on my relationship with Christ while affording me an opportunity to gain the practical knowledge necessary to succeed in my field. While attending college, I will receive a bachelors and masters degree in Business Administration, therefore, my University of choice must not only represent my personal beliefs but the rigor and drive
As I think of the University of Mississippi, the aspect that most impresses me, and is an addition to my desire to immerse myself in this prominent learning community is the University's outstanding resources. I am very attracted to the opportunity to explore and learn at the University of Mississippi's science departments. Science has been my academic passion ever since I entered middle school. Since then, I have always wanted to get into the medical field to become a neurologist. I believe the brain is a black box with endless mysteries waiting to be explored.
I have always retained a keen passion in learning about medicine and dreamed about becoming a pediatrician. As I learned more about NYU, I fell more in love with the university, aspiring to one day step into the halls of the school and make my mark. I believe it was the perfect place for me to start my pre-medical studies into one day becoming a doctor. When I first ventured in and around NYU in New York City, my eyes sparkled at the marvel of the campus. It is not one's typical campus.
All along, I have managed to maintain the principles of ethics and integrity, a strong sense of purpose, and morality, which binds me rigidly. On the surface, the University of Florida prevails as one of the top ten public universities in the United States and one of the best colleges in the world. However, "a rose by any other name would smell as sweet". Aside from UF's impressive titles, the University offers outstanding opportunities that suit my academic goals and living situation. On the surface, the University of Florida prevails as one of the top ten public universities in the United States and one of the best colleges in the world.
I have picked the field of Nursing since I have for a long while been motivated and willing to help individuals throughout my life. I additionally cherish taking in the advancement of how Babies and grown-ups change after some time. I will likely transfer to Midwestern University (MSU) after the following two years when I get my Associates of Arts at TCC, yet I might want to remain at Midwestern University and get my Bachelors in Science. My long-haul objective inside the following ten years is to have a steady occupation with my very own center being a birthing specialist.
New York University specifically interests me because of the profound sense of unity within its diverse urban campus in New York City. The unique backgrounds of its community members creates a compelling dynamic in and out of the classroom experience. When searching for where I wanted to spend the next years of my life after I graduate, I never encountered an atmosphere so invigorating and so impassioned as NYU. I could want nothing more than to one day call myself a part of this motivational community, building relationships with people who share my passion for helping others and who will both value my talents as well as challenge me to grow. I particularly grew fond of the economics program as it is recognized as one of the best in the world
I’ve always wanted to live in the city, and going to NYU has the advantage over west coast cities since I would be close to my family. The summers of my younger years were spent with my grandparents in New York City. I remember looking out at awe as I rode the subway across the Manhattan bridge. During the school year, my family would often go on the weekends from our home in New Jersey into Manhattan to have some dim sum and go shopping. Of course, the city also has practical features.
At some point between my graduation from the University of Kansas in 2011, and the opening of my graduate career at Arizona State University, I began to realize that the great majority of the literature which resonated strongest with me came directly from or was somehow closely affiliated with the modernist period. It was this dawning recognition which led me to ASU in 2013, as my awareness of the period’s impact on my life began to gel, an awareness that recognized the coherent progression from a youthful interest in Rex Stout, to a teenage one in William Faulkner and Virginia Woolf, to an adult passion for Ezra Pound and his mystifying Cantos. With this recognition came an urgent need, a demand to understand the draw of works from this period and to find a way to share the excitement about language which I experienced in reading them with others. My master’s degree study at ASU provided me with the tools and opportunities for beginning to tackle these concerns. I worked extensively with Gregory Castle on projects in the field of modernism, developing from a relationship established in a course on aesthetic theory in my second semester.
As a premier research university, University of Rochester is an ideal place for me to develop bench skills and gain experience in cutting edge experimental methods and processes. I am a double major in math and chemistry, and have exceptionally strong analytical skills as well as an ability to easily adapt to new research environments. Having an REU is an invaluable opportunity for me to come in ready to work hard, and in return continuously learn throughout the summer about the specific research I am conducting as well as general laboratory skills. Ultimately, the program will make me more aware of my own interests and prepare me for further chemistry studies. The laboratory experiences available to past REU students at Rochester target some
The reason for being in CCU first of all is because I dropped out of college while studying for Medical Technology and that caused such a shift in the very foundation of my core in life that everything was hard and had to look at and deal life in very different ways. In truth a total wake up call, grow up and face the smallest mistake with the biggest consequence. Even though, through out life I have heard and seen how people may react to others who are not educated or with less money, I never thought or knew it would happen to me. My own family, not my parents, but cousins and relatives, who I have seen and grew together, had such a change of attitude and indifference towards me that it shocked me and it was unbelievable and to the fact
The heart of New York City is New York University. By joining the network of NYU, I will be able to study at an institution that has a long tradition of academic excellence among private universities in the United States. Additionally, I will be able to be part of an internationally recognized learning network with locations all across the globe. It would be a pleasure to study at a globally recognized university. A friend of mine who is a recent graduate from NYU College of Nursing has praised the program and conveyed to me a very positive experience.
