ASB Reflective Essay

ASB is a great class that makes up all of CHS. We do things to have all the students in CHS more involved with all the events that go on. I've been in ASB for 2 years now and overall it's been a great experience. Some things I've done to help improve ASB were coming up with rally activities to make it more fun, help make creative posters, and come up with dress up days for everyone to show some school spirit. I’ve also learned to engage with some people in the class, but not everyone because at times not everyone is okay with the idea of all being a team. Communication is a big deal because you have to learn to speak up for your ideas. There is not much else that we can do to actually improve CHS, but just work to make our school better and do whatever it takes. There's a few things that would be nice to see implemented for ASB in the upcoming school years. One of them would be having everyone come together as a class and work as a team. These past 2 years either some people like to work on their own or not work at all, but since it’s a leadership class everyone should learn how to work together and “lead” like they are supposed to. Some things that I did this year was help make posters, do community service for our semester hours, come up with ideas for our rallies, as well as some other things. While doing all these things I always had fun. I enjoyed being involved and working with others to accomplish many things in the class and the community. Although some people lacked the effort to help, things always got done. Helping out the community is a great feeling because I know I’m doing something that not only benefits others, but also benefits me. ASB has helped me work together with other classmates and helped me learn things I will need for the future. I always tried to make myself useful and help out my classmates when they needed
