My Leadership Philosophy

Leadership is a great responsibility to take on, especially if it is something unaccustomed. There are many aspects to leadership, and very few leaders carry out those expectations. It is possible to be an exemplary leader, but it requires a numerous amount of hard work. My greatest strengths are in resilience, responsibility, and self discipline. Difficult situations will always occur, but the ability to be resilient when they do is valuable. Some people have a hard time confronting difficult situations, but I find the best way to approach the situation and solve it efficiently. Although an appealing outer personality may be a characteristic beneficial to being a leader, I am always striving to improve myself, especially a characteristic such as this. I strive to improve myself everyday and do the best I can, whether it is academically, socially, or personally. My outer personality is different from my inner personality. If others became familiar with my inner personality, I may be seen as a friendlier person. Every leader is not flawless. The amount of improvement among students can be voluminous, but there are other approaches to helping a student rather than helping students as a whole. There should be more one-on-one practices with students in which leaders feel is needed. Students should also feel free to approach and ask their leader for help if they need, but it should also be enforced more that if a student needs help, they take the initiative to ask the section leader for help. To make this happen, I am willing to enforce the idea that I am willing to donate my time to help them if they need, but they needed to ask for help because I may not be able to tell. If I know they need help, I will approach them and tell them I am always willing to help if they need. Everything can be improved, even when we think it
